CXXIV March, 4th- Hungarian Poetry from Romania. poetic is here
The Hungarian Poetry from Romania is a real force of poetry. Completely different from what we call Romanian literature, the poetry written in Hungarian inside the political borders of Romania can be read as original discourse over every day poetic works. The PoQ had the opportunity to host Papp Attila Zsolt from Cluj, Karacsonyi Zsolt from Cluj, Kiraly Zoltan from Cluj, Laszlo Noemi from Bucharest. Their performance in Bucharest was supported by The Magyar Writers from Transylvania League.
They brought to the PoQ a four different poetic visions,in the tradition of the great Hungarian poetry but, none the less with explicit Romanian background. Even when their translators are brilliant in Romanian, as for the versions realized by the Serban Foarta, a simple enquiry behind the text will reveal a strong conception of the original text and the ussage of poetics as existential tool. The theme poetic is here was shaped by the ability of the poets of transforming their home town in a center of their poetry.
