Poetics of The Quotidian: literature inserted in everyday life
poetics of the quotidian
An evening of literatures in motion
What are the poetics of the quotidian?
Since 2005, we program live music, readings, meetings and debates with contemporary Romanian authors as a part of poetics of the quotidian programme.
Every meeting brings thgether a guest and his readers. Usually in Club A these meetings are attended by people that are not necessarely anything else than readers.
In the first three years, the meetings had three different formats.
In 2005, a “poetics of the quotidian” meeting meant a writer and a band behind him as well as a life interview reguarding his work and his atitudes.
In 2006, the meetings included visual pojects, different performances and experiments being invited to colour the meetings that continued to involve readings and live interview.
In 2007, the focus of the poetics of tyhe quotidian was on the theme evnings. For any guest, the event was presented as a inteview with a specific concept.
In 2008, the interview and the readings became more involved with the actuality of literature.
Razvan Tupa presents this project in Club A since 2005.
He published two collections of poetry. The first one is “Fetish”in 2001 (“Fetish, a romanian book of pleasure”- Vinea Publishing House- 2003- is the second edition of this collection). In 2005, “Romanian Bodies” is his second book.
Meantime, Razvan Tupa suported the lounching of three separate unofficial collections of his poetry: 2001- ”All The objects we cram our intentions of closeness”, 2006- “Romanian Bodies- a complete breathing. Manele for later” and 2007 – “Romanian bodies, spring collection”.
